DIRECTOR BIO





Nicholas is a Los Angeles based filmmaker from Eastern PA. He received his B.A. in Film Production at Penn State University. His comedy short "Mad About Saffron" was filmed in central park during Christo's art installation and refers to the orange gates as "Ostrich Traps", and screened at the Penn State Student Film Festival.




Nick was a post-production intern at New Line Cinema and since has worked as an assistant supporting executives at the Disney Channel, Freeform, ABC Studios, ABC Signature and 20th Television. Nick continues to put his Film Production degree to use, independently directing and editing, music videos and short films including the comedy short Lunch Tattoo, co-written with Kimia Behpoornia. Lunch Tattoo was an official selection of Dances With Films LA and screened at festivals throughout the U.S. in 2023.

Nick currently volunteers for the non-profit Young Storytellers as a Head Mentor for their Script-to Stage Program. The program teaches 5th graders how to find their creative voice through writing a 5-page screenplay over the course of 8 weeks. Each 8-week session ends with a live performance of the kids' finished scripts and are acted out professional actors the kids at an assembly at their school.







After taking many improv and sketch classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre Los Angeles, Nick was selected to be a writer on UCB's house sketch comedy teams "Judith" and "Gorgeous". Nick produced regular sketch variety shows at the theatre including "That New New Show" with Private Street. Nick and creative partner Zach Fairless wrote and performed a 30 minute two person show "Very Nick and Zach: Now Is Tight" for six months at UCB Franklin.

From 2015-2020, Nick directed and edited videos with his 73 year-old father for YouTube and Instagram that were featured in GQ, Mashable, Huffington Post and NowThis News. The videos have receive endless sweet and positive comments on the internet including receiving a "Wholesome Award" on Reddit.
